Same circumstances, same situations, same events can make one person suffer from traumatic memories, another may develop a victim mentality, and some can emerge stronger as well as resilient.
Victimhood mentality engages in blaming others and keeps seeking attention, sympathy, and validation. It will not let us flourish and move forward.
People who emerge strong develop a clearer vision, build new relationships, and look for new opportunities as well as possibilities. They do not waste time in ruminating. Instead, they develop new perspectives and strengths. They exercise their free will instead of passively accepting it as karma.
