Shatrubodh

Shatrubodh is crucial for staying on the path of dharma and the evolution of the self. Otherwise, time gets wasted in the chakravyuh of adversaries. The game of blaming, arguing, fighting, and then getting along is endless. Constant victimization and self-pity will not give inner peace.

At one point, it is essential to pause, reflect, determine a path and a set of principles to follow, and reject adversaries and enemies. It is important to understand the motives, game plan, and strategies of people who are abusing us, trying to bring us down, manipulating us for their goals, and becoming parasites on us.
Analyze how they are dependent on us for their needs, but always insult us in front of others, and support our enemies.
Figure out their ideologies, intent, and capabilities.

Also, it is important to understand our own strengths and weaknesses(Swayam bodh), how we are helping them in the perpetuation of our own harm and slandering of our dignity.

Writing down the wrongs done to ourselves by them and reading it frequently will help keep us away from them. Even if we lose materially, our inner self wins.
We need to protect ourselves from a guilt trip. Stop sympathizing and showing compassion to people undermining us, and clinging to us like leeches.
Do not develop hate, just defend your dignity and self-esteem.
Shatrubodh is of utmost importance to strategically keep our sanity, self-respect, and stop the vicious cycle of forgiveness and fighting (emotional confusion).
Do not let our atma perish.
