The "REMNANTS" Performance
"REMNANTS" is a free, roaming spectacle performance that uses giant puppet creatures and stiltwalkers to represent the ancient ecosystems of Chicago.
Purpose of the performance is to explore Chicago's natural history, centering the "spirits of the place" that represent remnant prairies, wetlands, savannas, and woodlands. The performances also offer opportunities to learn about the local environment and take home free native plants and educational materials.
The event was organized at Humboldt park.
